That verse didn't start as a brand concept. It started as a lifeline.

Four friends — navigating career pivots, new families, loss, faith, and the particular kind of exhaustion that comes with building something from nothing — kept ending up in the same place. Around coffee. In conversation. Holding space for each other through seasons that didn't always make sense while you were in them.

SZNS CoffeeHouse was born out of those moments. Not a boardroom. Not a pitch deck. A cup, a table, and people who showed up for each other.

As a Black-owned brand, we carry that origin with intention. Coffee has deep roots in African and diasporic culture — and we don't take lightly the responsibility of honoring those roots while building something that brings people together across their own seasons.

Every blend we craft, every cup we pour, is an extension of that first conversation. The one that wouldn't end. The one that became this.
